Meet Chanel, a resilient 3 to 4-year-old terrier mix who, after a heartbreaking start, has blossomed into an energetic and happy dog. She even donates blood to save other lives! While her transformation is incredible, she's still working on building her trust and needs a patient family to help her along the way. Chanel enjoys toys and balls, especially soft squeakers, but can be startled by loud noises and is still learning how to play with them. Due to her past trauma, she can be flinchy when hands approach her, so a gentle and understanding environment where she can take things at her own pace is essential.

Transportation
Chanel is located in Texas and is available for transportation to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, & OH, LA. AZ transport is coming soon. Transportation ranges from $100-500, with private custom transport routes and destinations available upon request. Texas adopters have a flat rate fee of $250 for in-state transport. Animals are transported in air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow their journey through a private Facebook Event page. Pick-up locations will be coordinated by an Adoption Coordinator. For pick-up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting services.
