Cosmo

Cosmo is a sweet, 12-week-old Golden Retriever/Heeler mix who absolutely loves snuggles and playtime! She's a happy, snuggly girl with a super sweet personality, and is surprisingly calm for a puppy. Cosmo has been doing wonderfully with her foster family's cats, guinea pigs, and even their baby chicks! She can be a little shy around adult dogs at first, but with a little time and patience, she would likely adjust well to having another dog in the home. Cosmo is starting to discover toys, but her favorite things right now are playing and cuddling with her sister. She's making great progress with potty training and is already sleeping through the night without any accidents! She's also working on crate training, but would much rather curl up next to a person for a cozy night's sleep.

Ideal Home

Cosmo would be a wonderful fit for a family, a single-person home, or a home with another friendly dog.

Ongoing Health

Cosmo is a young puppy and will require ongoing veterinary care as she grows.

Training & Support

Cosmo is doing a great job with potty training, but because she is still so young, she will need a patient family to help her continue learning leash walking and puppy manners. As a Golden Retriever/Heeler mix, Cosmo is likely to grow into an intelligent, active dog who will thrive with a family committed to training, playtime, and plenty of love.
