Muffin - URGENT

Muffin is a sweet 5-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who desperately needs a home. She is currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and is at risk of euthanasia due to a cough. Muffin arrived at the shelter on May 30, 2026, and is ready for her second chance.

Ideal Home

Muffin needs a loving home where she can receive prompt medical attention for her cough. The shelter environment is not ideal for her, and she needs to be in a safe and caring place as soon as possible.

Ongoing Health

Muffin currently has a cough that makes her a high risk at the shelter. Further medical evaluation and care will be needed to ensure her recovery.

Training & Support

Muffin is not yet house-trained. She will need guidance and patience as she learns new habits in her forever home.
