Hello there! I'm Goldy, a sweet and sensitive soul who found myself at the shelter when my previous family could no longer care for me. While I might seem a bit shy at first, with a little patience and love, I promise to blossom into your most devoted companion. My foster family discovered that once I'm out and about, my true, energetic, and goofy personality shines through! I absolutely adore walks, especially in the grass, and I get so excited when I see that leash. Treats like chicken and whipped cream are my jam, and I'll happily take kibble right from your hand.

Ideal Home

A calm and loving home would be purr-fect for me. I can get startled by loud noises and sudden movements, so a quieter environment would help me feel more secure.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup! I do need some medication, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I'm working on it.

Training & Support

I'm still learning to get comfortable with my harness, so clipping a leash to my Martingale collar has been working well. While I walk nicely on a loose leash and stay close, I can be quite strong when I see squirrels or rabbits, so it's best to have a firm grip. I'm also toilet trained and have had no accidents, except for one when I wasn't feeling well overnight. I'm praise and food-motivated, and I pick up on things quickly! I enjoy puzzle feeders and treat balls.
