Meet Venus! This sweet 5-year-old, 45 lb Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix is ready to fill your home with affection and goofy charm. Venus is a gentle soul who loves nothing more than resting her head on your lap and gazing at you adoringly. She's a people-oriented girl who's happy to snuggle on the couch or join you for an outdoor adventure, perfectly matching your energy.
Venus has a playful spirit and enjoys running and wrestling with her canine friends, especially during backyard zoomies. She's also a big fan of toys and loves interactive play with her humans. If there's water involved, Venus is in her element – whether it's a kiddie pool or a stream, she'll splash around with pure joy. Plus, she's a fantastic car rider, making her the ideal companion for any road trip!
Ideal Home
Venus would thrive in a home where she's a cherished family member. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, a home without cats is recommended, as she has shown a strong interest in chasing them. She may also do well in a family with older, respectful children who understand boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Venus is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She has no known health conditions at this time.
Training & Support
Venus is a quick learner and is very food motivated. She is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and can be trusted loose in the house. She's working on her leash manners and can sometimes pull, but she's making great progress. Venus eats with enthusiasm, and to prevent her from sneaking other dogs' food, she does best when fed separately using a slow feeder.

Transporation
Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA. Transports run every few weeks and she can be on the next available transport once approved. Out-of-state adoptions are possible.
