Lou, also known as Lover, is a delightful mixed-breed terrier boy with a heart as big as his personality! He and his siblings came to us from rural Arkansas, where they were found as dumped puppies and lovingly cared for by Good Samaritans. Lou truly embodies the "lover" in his nickname; he'll gently place his front paws on you to get your attention, not in a jumpy way, but in a sweet, lingering way that just melts your heart. He's incredibly affectionate and would love nothing more than to be the center of attention in a family of his own. Lou is a doll, playful, intelligent, and would make a wonderful family dog.
Ideal Home
Lou would thrive in a home where he can be showered with love and attention. He absolutely adores children and would be a fantastic addition to a family looking for a devoted companion.
Ongoing Health
Lou has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is up-to-date on his Simparica Trio heartworm, flea, and tick preventative. He will receive a vet exam, a negative fecal test, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Lou's potty training should be a breeze in a home environment, given his current living situation. His intelligence and eagerness to please will make training a rewarding experience.
