Meet Hugo! This striking, solid black Labrador is 3 years old and 65 pounds of pure water-loving enthusiasm. Hugo is a very active boy who thrives when he has a job to do or training to focus his big, athletic energy. Structure, enrichment, and consistency help him shine, and he’s eager to learn when given direction. At just one year old, Hugo was heartbreakingly abandoned, but now he's ready for a family willing to teach him the ways of being a well-mannered house dog and give him the stability he missed early on. With patience, outlets for his energy, and plenty of water adventures, Hugo will grow into an incredible companion—loyal, joyful, and always ready for the next splash!

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our adoption fees cover transport, vetting (DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies, FVCRP, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, microchipping), a collar, and countless happy memories.
• Transport fees range from $150-500, and pick-up at our Angleton, TX location is $75.

Transporation

Hugo is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, TN & KY, IL, IN, WA, & OH. We offer custom transports via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated staff to ensure your pet's safety and comfort. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest pick-up location.
