Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful pit bull/cattle dog mix who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, whether they're human or canine. Lex is 56lbs of pure happiness and is constantly booming with joy. She's the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. When she first met her fosters, she ran up with a wagging tail and a huge smile, instantly showering them with love. She plays hard with other dogs, especially confident females, but is considerate and good at reading vibes. Lex has beautiful cattle spotting and adorable pointed ears, making her a true beauty.
Ideal Home
Lex needs a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with the high energy and "wild child" nature of cattle dogs. She would likely do well in a home with male or female dogs, but seems to prefer the ladies. While not yet kid-tested, we believe she would love children, especially older ones who can handle her playful exuberance. Lex is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Lex is a healthy dog, spayed and up-to-date on all vetting.
Training & Support
Lex's leash skills need a little work, as she can pull slightly when excited to greet new people. She is a smart dog who will likely train well with consistency.
