Paisley is a 67-pound, approximately 3-year-old Pittie mix who is overflowing with affection and a desire to connect. She greets everyone with warmth and is always ready to share the love, whether it's with her family or new guests. Paisley is a social butterfly who also knows how to be a champion couch potato. She thrives when she's by your side and is eager to please, responding beautifully to gentle guidance. She walks nicely on leash, and while she might get a bit wiggly when she sees another dog, she'll check in with you and settle down with a little encouragement. With other dogs, Paisley can be initially enthusiastic, bouncing and pawing, but she enjoys a good romp of chase before happily relaxing. She does best with calm, confident canine companions, particularly males of medium to low energy. However, Paisley would also be perfectly content being your one and only furry friend. She's flexible about her living situation, be it a house with a yard or an apartment, as long as she gets plenty of snuggles and belly rubs. Paisley would do best in a home with older children who appreciate her calm demeanor and can't quite keep up with the boundless energy of very young kids. She's affectionate, gorgeous, and devoted – the perfect bestie, ready and waiting for her forever home!

Paisley is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and received treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Paisley is responsive to commands and gentle corrections. She has the basics of leash walking down and can settle with guidance.

Paisley is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
