HARRY

Meet Harry, a delightful 3-year-old beagle mix who is looking for his forever home! Harry, also known as Artie, is a bundle of happy-go-lucky energy and loves everyone he meets. We think he might be a mix of Beagle and Boston Terrier, judging by his distinctive coloring, floppy Beagle ears, and his unique "Beagle bark." He's about the size of a 13-inch Beagle but a bit broader, and while he arrived at 45 pounds, he's now on a healthy diet and regular exercise to help him shed about 20 pounds. Despite his current weight, Harry adores his walks and is a wonderfully non-destructive companion when left alone, with no signs of separation anxiety. He's also house-trained and has access to a doggy door.

Ideal Home

Harry gets along with some dogs but not all, so a meet-and-greet is essential for a successful introduction. He would be perfectly content as the only dog in the household, as he truly prefers people over canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Harry is currently on a healthy weight dog food and is getting regular exercise to help him reach a healthier weight.

Training & Support

Harry is house-trained and can use a doggy door. A key thing to know is that Harry is protective of his food and needs to be fed in a separate area from any other dogs.
