Phoenix

Hi there! I'm Phoenix, a handsome and loving 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix looking for my next adventure. I'm about 80 lbs and still have plenty of pep in my step, enjoying walks and hikes. My previous foster home situation changed, and now I'm hoping to find a special person or people to share my life with. I was a shelter favorite before and I'm eager to be someone's best friend. I'm affectionate, walk nicely on a leash, and I'm a loyal and sweet companion who doesn't bark without a good reason. I do prefer to have my humans around, which is understandable for a loving dog like me!

Ideal Home

I'd thrive with an active person or people who enjoy the outdoors and can take me on walks and hikes. I can be a little protective of my home and people, which can be a good thing! I do enjoy the company of female dogs I know and like, especially those around my size.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy boy, ready for many more years of fun!

Training & Support

While I walk well on a leash, I can be a bit reactive towards unfamiliar dogs when I'm out and about. I'm looking for a strong owner who can continue to guide me.
