Shadow

Shadow is a handsome Shepherd mix, around 5 years old, who is looking for a very active owner to share his love for play, especially ball! His previous owners have invested a significant amount of time and training into him, and it truly shows. He’s a smart boy who thrives on consistency and plenty of exercise to keep him happy and engaged.

Ideal Home

Shadow would do best in an all-adult home. He can be good with other dogs, but would prefer to be the only dog or share his home with just one other canine companion. He is reactive to visitors in his home and protective of his space, so he must be kenneled when guests are present.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and is on a monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Shadow is well-trained and excellent at meeting people in public. However, he is reactive to visitors in his home and needs a dog-savvy person who can read his body language and provide consistent, high-energy exercise. This breed thrives on activity, so running, hiking, and endless games of fetch are a must!
