Styx

Meet Styx, a sweet and playful 75-pound Husky/Pitbull mix born on February 26, 2022. Styx absolutely adores people and just wants to be by your side. He'll happily roll over for belly rubs or snuggle up as close as possible, sometimes even on your lap! He can get a bit enthusiastic and might nudge his way into your personal space, so we're working on helping him understand boundaries. Styx is already potty trained and crates well, but he'd be thrilled to share your bed for a cozy night's sleep. He walks nicely on a leash and doesn't react negatively to other dogs he sees.

Ideal Home

Styx would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise, whether it's through walks, runs, hikes, or camping adventures. He also enjoys relaxing and napping on the couch. He would do well as the only dog in the home or with another canine companion. His ideal home requires a secure 6-foot fence and will be with adults or families with children over 5.

Styx is a healthy adult dog.

Training & Support

Styx is working on learning boundaries and can be a little pushy at times. He will need a home that is committed to continuing his training to help him grow into the best canine citizen he can be.
