Versatile Golden Retriever Puppies

Meet Shor'Line Golden Retrievers. I've been lucky to have Goldens since 1979 and can't imagine life without them - we compete in Conformation, Tracking, Field, Dock Diving, Rally, Agility, Lure Coursing, Scent Work and Barn Hunt. A number of my puppies have gone on to work as therapy dogs in a variety of settings. First and foremost, my dogs are members of my family and I breed for dogs with exceptional temperament and personality which are easy to train and wonderful companions. All of my dogs descend from my foundation girl Sailor and her father Strider - AM/MEX/AMS/WC CH Sheffield-Ducat's Spellbound SDHF, OS. Strider has a solid reputation of exceptional temperament in his descendents since the 1990s, and I have maintained this line because of the wonderful personalities I see from all my dogs. Great temperament and personalities are the hallmark of a Golden Retriever, and I place a strong emphasis on it. Our pedigrees feature many of the top dogs in the history of the breed, and we are especially proud of our own top winning dog Mariner. Mariner is the only GCHS CT in any breed of AKC registered dogs - a record he has held since 2012! Health and longevity are my priorities in selecting sires and dams, and I have a strong history of longevity in my pedigrees. Sailor lived to nearly 16, Mariner nearly 14 and many of the dogs behind them lived into their mid-teens. All my dogs have their full health clearances, as well as annual eye exams at Purdue University by noted opthalmologist Dr. Wendy Townsend DVM, including ultrasound exams for Pigmentary Uveitis (all dogs clear).
