SMOKEY

Smokey is a food-obsessed, silly, vocal, stubborn, and dramatic, but loving pup! He is all business when it comes to his meals and can hear a treat bag opening from a mile away, even while sound asleep. He would do best with a family experienced with strong-willed dogs. When he's not busy playing or chewing, he wants to be right by your side, preferably on the couch or bed.

Smokey has a high prey drive and enjoys chasing chickens, playing rough with cats, and enthusiastically shaking his plush toys. He has begun potty training and responds well to cues to go potty outside. He's a confident, brave, curious, energetic, strong-willed, and happy guy who bounces back quickly from any tumbles. He prefers to stay cool and will sleep on the floor or away from you if he gets too warm, rather than being bundled in blankets. He gets along well with other animals, including a pomchi puppy and big rescue pup. We are unsure how he would do with children, but he does need to work on his bite inhibition, as it can be hard. Other than that, he's a delight!
