Clancy is a super-sweet senior boy who was reluctantly surrendered after his owner of nearly 14 years passed away. Having been mostly indoors and with one person for his whole life, Clancy did so well at his first adoption event, you never would have known it! He confidently walked around the store, socialized with other foster dogs and new people without worry. He is accustomed to having human company around most of the time and loves snuggling on laps. He's never been around children, but recently met a couple with no issue.
Ideal Home
Clancy may do best in a home without small children.
Ongoing Health
Clancy is almost 14 years old and has a bit of declining vision and has lost most of his teeth. He gets around great, but has been using stairs to navigate the couch. Having spent most of his time inside, he has been using pee pads.
Training & Support
He walks well on leash and travels quietly in his crate.

Transporation
Clancy is located within a 2-hour radius of the Tricounty area. Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard-to-place dogs. We only do adoptions on Saturdays, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via Wags and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application. Event locations do vary, so please check our homepage or social media to find out where we will be this week.
