Oyster is the kind of dog that makes you slow down, smile a little more, and appreciate the quiet, sweet moments in life. From the second you meet him, you'll notice his gentle nature and those soft, loving eyes that seem to say, "I'm already yours." He is incredibly sweet, endlessly affectionate, and truly just wants to be close to his people. This handsome boy has the most perfect, easygoing temperament. He enjoys playtime with other pups but isn't over-the-top or chaotic – Oyster is much more of a "let's play a little and then relax together" kind of guy. He gets along beautifully with every dog he meets and has such a respectful, kind way about him that other dogs seem to instantly trust him. He's the type who makes fast friends and then happily curls up beside them for a nap. Oyster is a professional cuddler and absolutely lives for snuggling, gentle pets, and cozy time on the couch. If you work from home or just love having a calm, loving companion by your side, Oyster is your dream match. He's perfectly content to lounge with you, soaking up attention and quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Every now and then, his goofy side will peek out and make you laugh – he has the cutest little personality that keeps things fun without ever being overwhelming. One of Oyster's most heart-melting qualities is how gentle he is. Whether he's taking treats (so softly and politely!) or interacting with people, he handles everything with care. He's thoughtful, kind, and just an all-around good boy in every sense of the word. Oyster also gets along well with cats and could definitely live in a home with a feline friend. He has a respectful, easygoing nature that allows him to adjust nicely in multi-pet homes.
Ideal Home
Oyster does have a tender, loving heart, and because of that, he feels happiest when he has companionship. He really thrives with another dog in the home – he loves having a buddy to snuggle with and finds so much comfort in not being alone. Having a canine companion helps him feel safe, relaxed, and completely at ease. He's not asking for much – just a home where he can share his love and be near those he cares about.
Ongoing Health
Oyster is up to date on all vetting, which includes his DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and he is microchipped.
Training & Support
Oyster's foster parents have been working with him on crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He is a good boy who is eager to please and will likely pick up new training quickly.

Transporation
Oyster is currently in Texas. He can be transported to various locations nationwide for an additional fee. Transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
