Lex

Lex is an incredibly sweet boy who is a 2-year-old, 55 lb German Shepherd/Husky/Bull Terrier mix. He's very submissive with both the big and small dogs in his foster home, and as he's grown more comfortable, he's even started playing with the larger dogs. He did wonderfully during his bath, blowout, and nail trim, and he doesn't mind being brushed daily. He recently visited the dog park and did fantastic, happily greeting every person and dog he met. He also loves going on walks and listens very well. Lex is potty trained and will kennel on command. His Husky side shows up with some whining and howling when he first kennels, but it's brief. He sleeps through the night in his kennel with minimal fuss and overall he has been an easy houseguest!

Ideal Home

Lex would do best in a home with another medium or large dog and with someone who works from home or is home most of the time. He is not a good fit for apartments or homes without other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Lex has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Lex is potty trained and kennels on command. He does whine and howl briefly when initially kenneled due to his Husky side, but this is short-lived. He is a good listener on walks and enjoys them.
