Rocky is a 3-year-old, 54 lb German Shepherd mix who is incredibly loyal and sweet, loving his pack more than anything. He is very dog friendly but requires gentle, slow introductions at first to feel comfortable. He is completely house-trained, crate-trained, non-destructive, does not bark, and can be left free-roaming alone without issue. Rocky knows multiple commands like sit, stay, and heel, and sleeps peacefully through the night. He listens extremely well and wants nothing more than to please his owner. He loves long walks and training sessions, learning new skills very quickly! He also adores pets, snuggles, and especially belly rubs. He is genuinely up for anything, including baths, brushing, wearing costumes, and going to dog-friendly bars and restaurants. Rocky has now completed heartworm treatment and is looking for a long and happy life with his new people. He loves kids as well, so a family seeking a best friend would be ideal!
