Bella

Bella is a sweet, 7-pound senior Chihuahua who is ready to shower a loving human with affection! She came to us with her two cat siblings after her previous owner passed away. We couldn't bear to see her shaking in an overcrowded kennel, so we scooped them all up and brought them to a foster home to decompress.

Bella is a classic diva who prefers to be on your lap, in your bed, or following you around like a shadow. She's potty pad trained and even convinced her foster that she needed to be hand-fed for a week before finally admitting she could eat on her own! Bella gets along well with other cats and dogs, though she'll definitely nudge your hand with her nose to remind you it's her turn to be pet. When she's nervous, she'll lick her armpit – but who doesn't have a quirk or two? She's a happy-go-lucky senior whose sassy side comes out when she's demanding to be picked up or sensing stranger danger, like a gardener. Although she's hard of hearing, Bella remains curious and involved in all the household action. She lost the only person she ever knew and is ready to love again.
