Jeffery

Jeffery is a 2-3 year old, 90-95lb, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix who is a true gentle giant with people! He ended up at the Dallas shelter after likely being a junkyard dog, but he's ready to leave that life behind for a loving home. Jeffery is a pro at house and crate training and is incredibly affectionate with humans. He's up-to-date on all his shots and is heartworm negative. He's a smart cookie too; if you raise your voice on a walk, he'll back up and sit right beside you! Jeffery loves to hang out and enjoys leisurely strolls, making him the perfect couch companion for movie nights rather than a running or hiking buddy. He's a total sweetheart and would make a wonderful, loyal friend.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children (12+). He needs to be the only pet in the household as he does not like other male dogs and is questionable with female dogs. He would not be a dog park dog. No tie-outs or electric fences are permitted.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jeffery is crate trained and potty trained. He is responsive to his handler and will sit and back up if his voice is raised on a walk.
