Everyone welcome handsome boy Stanley! Stanley is the man! This fabulous boy appears to be a chocolate lab pittie mix of some sort. We believe he is 6 years old, so he's a pretty mellow easy-going guy! Stanley is a slow burn, preferring to take things slow when meeting new people and doggy friends. He is a sweetheart, still learning that there are nice people and pups in the world. Stanley is currently in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family. Could that be you?
Stanley was a super sweet boy when introduced to dogs at the rescue, giving polite sniffs and then wanting to mosey around the yard. He brought a calmness to the yard, even with energetic pups around, and loved exploring. Stanley often goes on explorations with his foster family, taking road trips and visiting the beach, where he loves smelling the salty air and feeling the sand between his paws. He would enjoy seeing the world with you!
Stanley is a smart boy who knows how to sit, is great on leash, and is the perfect car rider, snuggling in the back and sleeping peacefully. He was also a very good boy at the vet, staying calm and even letting an 8-year-old friend train him with treats. Stanley is a sweet boy who we believe could fit into many families. He is too interested in kitties, but we are happy to test him with anything you may need! We believe Stanley could easily fit into apartment life because of his laid-back attitude and quietness. Ideally, he would love a yard to sunbathe and go on sniffaris!

Ongoing Health
Stanley is up to date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm preventative. He has been spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Stanley knows how to sit and is great on leash. He is also a perfect car rider and calm at the vet.

Transporation
Stanley is in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). Transport is available via USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care.
