Winnie

Meet Winnie! This one-year-old mixed breed is a bundle of energy and affection, eager to find her forever home. Winnie is a smart, playful, and friendly pup who loves to make her humans smile. She's always up for a game of fetch or an afternoon stroll, and she's a quick learner, already knowing several tricks! After a busy day, Winnie loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch with her favorite people. She had a previous home where a child played too roughly with her, leading to some wrestling on her part. She's also shown some resource guarding with food. We believe Winnie can be a wonderfully well-trained companion with a consistent and experienced adopter.

Ideal Home

Winnie would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can provide consistent training and guidance. She has done well with older children and adults. While she can be an only dog, she would also do well with another dog who can help her get some energy out and teach her boundaries, but this should be a slightly older dog.

Ongoing Health

Winnie is vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on all preventatives.

Training & Support

Winnie is smart and eager to please, making her a great candidate for advanced training. She does need some work on learning boundaries with other dogs and has shown some resource guarding with food, which an experienced adopter can help her overcome.
