Hi, I'm Helix! I'm a playful and affectionate young dog who loves to wrestle and chase with my canine friends. My foster mom takes me to daycare, where I can burn off my energy and socialize with other dogs, which I really enjoy. I'd do best in a home with another dog who can help me feel more comfortable as I adjust to a new environment.

I'm also a big fan of tennis balls! I can entertain myself for hours by tossing them in the air and trying to catch them. I'm a smart boy and I listen well when my foster mom calls me inside. I also sleep through the night in my kennel and am an early riser, ready to start the day with some fun!

While I can be a little shy around new people at first, I'm working on becoming more comfortable in new situations. I prefer to approach people at my own pace, but I've learned to enjoy being petted and secretly love chin scratches!

Ideal Home

I need a home with a fenced-in yard and a human who understands that I need time to adjust to new surroundings. I would also do well with another dog to keep me company and help me feel secure.
