Meet Sunset River Labradors. Janet Shelters is from New York and breeds Labrador Retrievers. My husband Doug and I have owned Labradors for over 40 years and have been involved in breeding for just as long! Our goal is to insure that we maintain all the wonderful attributes of the breed and to that end we have our dogs screened for all potential problems prior to consideration for breeding. We select sires who have passed the same testing requirements. Our dogs are beautiful English labs who not only excel in the field but are our beloved family companions. Our dogs receive excellent care all year long with high quality food, vitamins, regular veterinary care, daily exercise, stimulating activity and an abundance of love. Our puppies are raised indoors in a social family setting. When choosing your next dog it should not be a decision based solely on titles, looks or price tag. Make a decision with a breeder who has not only your best interest in mind but the best interest of the breed, their own dogs and the 8 week old pup that she or he is now entrusting to your care…… AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
