About Sue Ellen
Meet Sue Ellen! This sweet girl may be a little timid at first, but she's been coming out of her shell wonderfully in foster care. She's a gentle, curious companion who enjoys being near her people and is happy to quietly keep you company throughout the day. Sue Ellen gets along well with other dogs, rides nicely in the car, and continues to grow more confident every day. She's ready to find a patient family who will cheer her on as she continues to blossom.
Ideal Home
A patient family who will cheer Sue Ellen on as she continues to blossom.
Ongoing Health
All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. Paper versions are available upon request.
Training & Support
No specific training needs were mentioned, but a patient and supportive home will be beneficial for her continued confidence building.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sunday and Monday and will not be processing any applications on those days. Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect.
- An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match.
- After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system.
- The adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location.
- Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier.
Pet Central Helps! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options:
- Exchange for a pet that may be a better match.
- Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee.
