At 5 years old and 36#, this Border Collie mix knows how to balance his love of activity with downtime. Outside, he's ready to kick life into high gear. Whether he is chasing his beloved soccer ball or heading out for a walk, Sonic loves to be on the go. Back home, he's happy to settle, soaking up affection from his people or enjoying a peaceful nap while they work or go about their day.
Sonic is a smart guy, true to his breed mix. He knows basic obedience commands, loves his crate, and walks nicely on leash. He won't miss a squirrel sighting, so you don't have to worry about a clandestine invasion! He gets along well with other dogs, spending time with canine friends at daycare or boarding. He's comfortable meeting new people and dogs. We are not sure what he would think of kitties.
Ideal Home
Sonic is looking for a deep connection with his people. His ideal family wants a four-legged best friend in all that life has to offer. They enjoy an active lifestyle with plenty of walks and playtime to keep him occupied. He's also proven to be a wonderful family dog, currently living with kids aged 7 and 10. A securely fenced yard is strongly preferred so he has room to stretch his legs and chase that treasured soccer ball. If your ideal dog loves to play and explore as much as he enjoys relaxing together in the evening, and you enjoy giving affection as much as you receive it in return, Sonic could be your perfect match.
Ongoing Health
Sonic is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Sonic knows basic obedience commands, loves his crate, and walks nicely on leash.

Sonic is being fostered in Minneapolis, MN. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul. Transport may be available.
