Georgia

Georgia is settling into her foster home. She is one of the more fearful of the group she arrived with, but we can see in her eyes that she wants so badly to love and trust humans. We're very hopeful that she will after some time to decompress and some TLC. Georgia is an adorable Chihuahua/Pug type mix and is a petite girl, probably just under 10 pounds and maybe a year old. Six small female dogs were living in a crummy outdoor kennel and all were either pregnant or soon to be pregnant. We agreed to take all six in order to stop the cycle of reproduction. With the devastating overpopulation crisis, it's truly the kindest thing. One little mama actually delivered before getting on transport. She will raise her family in love and comfort in her foster home, and then she and pups will be spayed/neutered and placed in loving homes, as will the other girls.

Ideal Home

Georgia is a fearful dog and will need a patient and understanding home to help her decompress and learn to trust.

Ongoing Health

Georgia is scheduled to be spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Georgia is not house-trained and will need consistent training in her new home.
