TEX (Loyal, Loving, Active--Fostering in Wayne, NJ)

Hi, I'm Tex! I'm a 2-year-old, 35-pound Cattle Dog/Corgi mix with a heart as big as my energy levels. My short legs might be a surprise, but my personality is HUGE! I was found abandoned in a rural area, but I'm optimistic and ready to find my forever family. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on my shots.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home with plenty of space to run and explore, like a farm, acreage, or easy access to trails for our adventures! Because I have herding instincts, I'd do best in an all-adult household or one with high school-aged children. While I enjoy the company of other dogs, my prey drive means I can't share my home with cats.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup and have been neutered and microchipped. I'm also current on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm a smart and athletic guy who is already house and crate trained. I walk well on a leash and am a fantastic car rider! I'm a bit shy at first but warm up quickly. I'm a loyal and protective boy, but once I know a visitor is welcome, I'm all wags and charm. I also love bath time and sit perfectly still!
