Meet Artie! This 5-year-old Chihuahua is a professional lap warmer and a master of cuddles. Weighing in at a petite 4.5 pounds, Artie is happiest when he's curled up in your lap, nestled under a blanket, or following you from room to room. He's the perfect little shadow with a huge heart, ready to fill your life with love. Artie has a sweet personality and an abundance of affection to give. While he can get along with other dogs, he definitely prefers human company and will choose snuggles with you over playtime with other pups every time.
Ideal Home
Artie would do well in many different types of homes. He would likely be a great companion for older, respectful children who understand how to handle a tiny dog with care. Due to his small size, he is not suited for homes with very young children who might accidentally injure him.
Ongoing Health
All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
Training & Support

Artie is currently located in South Mississippi. We welcome both local and out-of-town adopters. For those adopting from further away, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. The adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing, with transports running every 2-3 weeks. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.
