Cookie

Cookie is a loving and sweet large dog who was rescued from a hoarding situation. He spent over a year in a tiny pen, but he's now slowly regaining his strength and enjoying more exercise and freedom. Cookie is kennel trained and reliably goes to the bathroom outside of his kennel. He's a fantastic companion who is ready to go anywhere with his new family!

Ideal Home

Cookie is a very social dog who gets along well with other dogs and has done well with children of all ages. He can be startled by loud noises like fireworks, gunshots, and loud cars, and may react by howling or barking, which can be quite amusing!

Ongoing Health

Cookie was treated for heartworm and is now healthy.

Training & Support

Cookie knows basic commands and is house-trained. He's a really good dog, and with continued exercise and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to thrive.
