Madera

Madera is a sweet, curious, and people-focused 55-pound American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle nature and an affectionate personality. She enjoys spending time with her people, exploring her surroundings, and soaking up attention, making her a lovely companion for both adventures and quiet moments. She is also known to be treat motivated and loves people, especially if they come with string cheese! Madera knows "sit," takes treats gently, and happily leans in for pets and scratches. She walks nicely on leash with minimal pulling, enjoying taking in the sights and smells on her outings. Madera enjoys sniffing and exploring at her own pace, and may occasionally chase a tossed ball for fun. She has been observed to calmly watch other dogs with interest, but without barking.

Ideal Home

Madera would do well in a home with appropriately matched dog friends, though she is likely to be happiest as the only pet in her home with thoughtful opportunities to socialize with other dogs.
