Meet Betsy Blue, a wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart who is about two years old. While we can't be certain of her exact breed mix since she's a rescue, our best guess is a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix. With her striking one blue and one brown eye, soft floppy ears, and gorgeous coloring, she is as stunning as she is silly. Betsy can be a little hesitant when meeting new people, often offering a tentative "drive-by bump" to test the waters before showering you with wiggles. Once she warms up, her joyful, snorty, and hilarious personality shines through. Her foster family reports she sounds like a piglet when excited and has been known to jump for joy when her favorite people appear! Once you're in Betsy's inner circle, expect enthusiastic wags, wiggles, and the most loving gaze. She truly has a deep love for her people.

Betsy is an active girl who loves her walks and is a dream on the leash. She's also a toy enthusiast, particularly fond of small plush cat toys. She is a huge foodie and treat-motivated, making her easy and fun to train. Betsy is a smart girl who picks up new commands quickly and loves to spend quality time learning. While she has lived with other dogs and cats, she can be shy and unsure at first. With time and patience, she blossoms into a playful companion who enjoys interaction. Dog-savvy cats are a good fit, and she has even been known to wrestle with her feline foster siblings.

Transporation
Betsy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
