About Granger

Granger joined us in June 2023 after a difficult experience. He was the devoted companion of a homeless gentleman, and tragically, both were involved in a car accident. Granger sustained a broken hind leg and a concussion. His owner was injured and hospitalized, but sadly, was never seen again. A compassionate client witnessed the accident, rescued Granger, and brought him to our veterinary hospital. He received treatment, stabilization, and eventually, surgery to repair his leg. He recuperated with us while he healed. Despite extensive efforts, we were unable to locate his owner.

Granger quickly became the beloved mascot of our veterinary hospital. Even through painful procedures and a challenging recovery, he remained remarkably calm, trusting, and cooperative. Once his leg had healed, he was neutered, microchipped, and had a fractured tooth removed.

He is now very healthy, up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and has continued to thrive at our veterinary hospital. He participates in training classes and enjoys daily PlayCare. Granger absolutely loves the pool and neighborhood walks. He regularly enjoys sleepovers with our staff members, but he is still eagerly awaiting his forever family.

Granger adores attention and affection, is not a picky eater, and relishes car rides. He particularly enjoys the company of men and would form a very strong bond with a single person. A family with older children would also be a wonderful fit. He would also make an excellent emotional support dog, as he is highly attuned to human emotions and is ready to be a steadfast companion through life's ups and downs.

Ideal Home

Granger would do well as an emotional support dog and would bond very strongly to a single person. A family with older children would also be great.

Ongoing Health

Granger has had his back leg repaired, a fractured tooth removed, and is current on all vaccines and preventatives.

Training & Support
