This adorable 10-month-old spayed Jack Russell Terrier mix weighs 19 pounds and is packed full of personality, charm, and just the right amount of goofy. Arriving as an unclaimed stray in a rural New Mexico shelter, Lacy Mae is ready to leave her wandering days behind and find a forever family to share her adventures with.
Lacy Mae is the definition of a social butterfly. She loves people, adores other dogs, and can often be found zooming around the yard with her canine friends before dramatically flopping onto a cozy dog bed for a well-earned nap. She's submissive, friendly, and gets along beautifully with both big and small dogs.
And if there's water involved? Even better! Mud puddles, splash zones, sprinklers, kiddie pools—Lacy Mae is always ready for aquatic adventures. Her motto seems to be, "Why walk around the puddle when you can run through it?"
This sweet girl is crate trained, knows the dog door, enjoys car rides, and sleeps quietly through the night. She can be a little vocal when first settling into her crate, but after a few minutes, she relaxes and settles in nicely.
