Mora is a sweet and gentle 1-year-and-3-month-old Labrador-type mix, weighing approximately 26.5 lbs. This black beauty can be a bit shy and nervous when she first meets new people or finds herself in unfamiliar surroundings. However, with patience, calm voices, and a little affection, she blossoms into a loving and joyful companion. Mora loves to play, enjoys the company of other dogs, and once she feels safe, she absolutely adores hugs! She came to us with her sister, Sadie, after they were abandoned as young puppies outside a school. Mora has been waiting for a family to call her own, and she's ready to offer her loyalty, sweetness, and endless love in return.
Ideal Home
Mora would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard. An active family who enjoys outdoor activities would be a wonderful match for her playful spirit. She needs a patient and loving family who understands her gentle nature and is committed to helping her feel safe and secure.
Ongoing Health
Mora is up-to-date on her health protocol, which includes being spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), microchipped, and tested for various diseases (4DX, Heartworm negative). She is on monthly preventive medication for fleas, ticks, and heartworm (Nexgard Spectra). A health certificate and vaccination booklet are provided. Please note that many of our rescued dogs are not fully house-trained.
Training & Support
Mora is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared for this. Her past experiences may have left her with fears and anxieties, so patience and understanding are crucial for her adjustment period. We recommend families with experience in dog behavior and training, or those willing to hire a trainer, to help this intelligent dog reach her full potential.

Transporation
Mora is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. We offer door-to-door delivery for a fee of $400 USD. Our transport is carefully planned with scheduled trips occurring 3-4 times a year. Pets are accompanied by a dedicated team and provided with all necessary legal and health documents. You will receive real-time updates throughout the journey, and the transport team will conduct a final home review upon arrival.
