Lou, a handsome mixed breed terrier male, is the epitome of a loving pup! He and his siblings were rescued from rural Arkansas, where they were thankfully cared for by kindhearted Good Samaritans before coming to us. Lou is extra special; instead of jumping, he'll gently stand on his hind legs, paws resting on your thigh, looking up with those big, adoring eyes as if to say, "I love you!" He's a doll who thrives on affection and attention. At approximately 45 lbs and no longer growing, Lou is an incredibly playful and intelligent companion. He absolutely adores children and would be the center of attention in a loving family of his own, making him a wonderful family dog.

Ongoing Health
Lou is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is up-to-date on his Simparica Trio heartworm, flea, and tick preventative. He will have a vet exam, negative fecal test, and health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Lou is already completing his potty training in a home environment and should pick it up quickly.

Transporation
Lou is currently located in our kennel in Arkansas and is available for transport to the New England area. We are happy to guide you through the process if you are out of state and can arrange video calls to help you get to know our rescues. We can also help you find the transport stop nearest to you. The adoption fee of $250 includes transport to many New England cities.
