Mochi

The Pond Princess, Backyard Olympian, and Certified Free Spirit has bloomed! Mochi was once one of many dogs on a property with an unpredictable life, but even then, she was sweet, thoughtful, and incredibly social. Now, she's thriving and discovering the world with boundless enthusiasm. Watch out, because if there's water, Mochi is in it – pools, ponds, even a wheelbarrow full of rainwater would be fair game for a celebratory paddle! She doesn't just run; she hops, bounces, and launches herself through the grass like a creature that's found pure joy. Spending time with Mochi is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Beyond her fun-loving nature, Mochi possesses a beautiful independence that makes her a joy to live with. She's not demanding or clingy, content to explore, socialize with her dog friends, or find a sunny spot to relax. But when she loves you, it's game over. While a little shy at first, Mochi is thoughtful and takes her time to bestow her heart. Once earned, she becomes the sweetest, most loyal companion, following her people, giving the best kisses, and offering a quiet, genuine devotion.

Mochi's adventurous spirit completely melts away once she's inside, where she becomes your little shadow. She'll quietly follow you from room to room, content to simply be wherever you are, whether you're making dinner or folding laundry. She doesn't need constant entertainment and genuinely enjoys being part of the family's activities, even when nothing is happening. Her energy is wonderfully balanced – spirited and playful outdoors, yet calm and dignified inside. She's not prone to boredom-induced mischief and is perfectly happy just existing alongside her loved ones.

Her upbringing with many dogs has given Mochi exceptional social skills. She's naturally submissive, respectful, and takes cues from other dogs beautifully, knowing when to join in, give space, or settle down. Because of this, we'd love to see her in a home with another dog to share adventures and daily life with.

Ideal Home

We would especially love to see Mochi with someone who enjoys getting outside. A family with a yard, a lake house, a cabin, or a hiking buddy would be perfect. She's looking for a co-star who will let her chase the next adventure, swim in the next pond, and then come home to curl up with her people. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families.

Mochi is healthy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Mochi is a well-socialized dog with excellent doggy manners. She is a quick learner and thrives on positive reinforcement.

Transporation

Mochi is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
