About Joan the family pup

Meet Joan, a bright and playful young puppy estimated to be around 3 months old. We suspect she's a delightful mix of Labrador Retriever and Shepherd, but as with many rescues, her exact lineage is a fun mystery! What's not a mystery is that Joan is 100% ready for her forever home. With her striking black and white coat, charming floppy ears, and those big, expressive brown eyes, Joan is the picture of puppy charm. She has the sweetest white markings on her chest and chin, and seems to instinctively strike a pose, whether she's relaxing in her bed or playing with a favorite toy.

Joan is currently blossoming in a foster home, experiencing the joys of playtime, naptime, and plenty of cuddles. She's learning about the world around her while growing up with people and other dogs, developing into a happy, confident, and well-socialized pup.

Her favorite hobby? Definitely "all toys!" Stuffed animals, balls, tug toys, chew toys – Joan loves them all and enjoys sharing her playtime, especially a good game of tug-of-war with her brother. She has all the energetic enthusiasm you'd expect from a healthy and happy young dog and is a surprisingly talented fetch player. Joan approaches life with curiosity and a wagging tail, always eager for the next adventure.

But for all her playful spirit, Joan also has a wonderfully affectionate side. Once her zoomies are done, she's all about snuggles. She loves being held, getting showered with kisses, and resting her head on your shoulder, soaking up all the love she can get.

Ideal Home

Joan will thrive in a home committed to providing consistent training, ample socialization, patience, and positive reinforcement as she continues to grow and learn.

Ongoing Health

Joan is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention. She has been spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Like all puppies, Joan will benefit greatly from continued training, including crate training, a daily structured routine, and exposure to new experiences to help her navigate the world with confidence.
