Johdi

Meet Johdi, a delightful two-year-old, 20lb lady who embodies cool, calm, and collected. With the softest fur and an irresistible sausage-link body, Johdi is a joy to have around. She's a friendly and adaptable dog who gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and integrates seamlessly with dogs of any size. New situations? She handles them like a pro! Johdi travels well, makes new canine friends easily, and is happy to greet guests with pets. At home, she's content to nap in a cozy spot, independent but always ready for a quick check-in and some love. She has no separation anxiety, no destructive tendencies, and happily sleeps in her crate. A unique quirk she has is that when being picked up, she'll get low to the ground in protest, only to extend all four legs once in your arms, as if she's trying to fly!

Ideal Home

Johdi would be a fantastic fit for almost any home! She's happy as an only dog or with canine companions, great with children, and would make a wonderful companion for a first-time dog owner or someone seeking a low-maintenance pup. She doesn't require extensive exercise; leisurely walks with plenty of sniffing and bird-watching are her style, and her zoomies are short and delightful.

Ongoing Health

Johdi previously tested positive for heartworm and was treated before she traveled north.

Training & Support

Johdi is still getting used to city dog traffic on walks and may occasionally bark at a passing pup. A well-timed treat is usually all it takes to redirect her attention.
