Meet Gumbo, a charming 1-year-old Dachshund/Terrier mix who weighs in at a portable 19 lbs. Gumbo was rescued from a high-intake shelter after an unknown injury led to the need for a tail amputation. He's healed wonderfully and is now ready to wag his way into a loving home! Gumbo is a bundle of fun who adores playing with dogs of all sizes and has shown to be friendly towards cats. He is a people-pleaser who especially loves his foster mom and expresses his happiness with the most adorable smile. Gumbo is neutered, vaccinated, and up-to-date on prevention.

Gumbo would thrive in a home where he can be around his people and play with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Gumbo has had a tail amputation due to a previous injury. He has fully recovered from this procedure.

Training & Support

Gumbo is crate trained, leash trained, and potty-trained, making him a well-behaved companion.
