Holly is a beautiful, playful, fun, affectionate, smart, and sometimes stubborn, three-year-old, 57-pound, female black and white Cattle Dog/Lab-mix looking for a loving guardian. She is perfectly housetrained and crate-trained. Holly knows the commands sit, down, paw, other paw, and roll-over. She’s fine as an apartment dog or in a home. She does have a strong personality and lets you know when she doesn’t feel like following instructions. She prefers to be offered a treat and lured to move, rather than physically forced – smart girl! Holly is a silly interactive girl who gets the zoomies and twirls around the yard if given the chance. Holly thinks she’s a snuggly lap dog and LOVES to play ball. She often finds stray tennis balls on her daily walks to bring home. She gives kisses and absolutely adores her people. She loves her leashed walks and is phenomenal in the car. She’s also very good with other dogs upon proper introduction, but she is not a good fit for homes with cats or other critters. Found as a stray, she was dropped off at Chicago Animal Control and taken in by Friends of Petraits Rescue. Holly comes complete with her food, leash, collar, and absolutely everything you need to care for her!
