Ophelia is a 72lb gentle giant with a calm, easygoing personality. She recently gave birth to a litter of puppies and proved to be an amazing, devoted mother. Now that her puppies have found their forever homes, it's Ophelia's turn to be cherished. She is spayed, healthy, and ready to discover a life beyond motherhood. Ophelia gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of livestock. While she hasn't been formally tested with cats, her laid-back temperament suggests she'd do well, and we're happy to cat test her for interested adopters. She's smart and is already using a dog door, indicating she's on her way to being potty trained and will likely adapt to a new routine quickly.

Transportation

Ophelia is currently fostered in Texas. She can be transported to various pickup locations in Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin on July 17/18th. Pickup locations include Herculaneum (MO), Collinsville, Springfield, Bloomington/Normal, Oglesby, and Roscoe (IL), and Sun Prairie and Fond du Lac (WI). Specific meeting points are available for adopters from the Green Bay, Davenport, and Milwaukee areas. Transport is included in the adoption fee, which is paid at pickup.
