Ann Marie is a 50-pound, 8-year-old sweetheart whose greatest passions in life are naps, snacks, belly rubs, and aggressively cuddling anyone who dares sit down near her. She's a professional snuggler with a signature move called the Belly RollTM – she dramatically plops onto her back and wiggles across the couch, patiently waiting for her spa treatment. Ann Marie is a perfect mix of silly and settled, happy to snooze beside you, supervise your patio lunch date, or join you for a leisurely stroll. She absolutely adores people and has lived wonderfully with children and large groups of people. While she's confident and socially appropriate around other dogs, Ann Marie prefers calm energy and personal space, making her happiest as the only dog in the home. She has also done well around calm, dog-savvy cats. She is house-trained, non-destructive, rides wonderfully in the car, and walks beautifully on leash. Ann Marie would be an amazing apartment dog or would be just as content with a yard to sunbathe in. Her ideal home would involve comfy furniture, soft blankets, snacks, and humans who appreciate quiet companionship.
Ideal Home
Ann Marie would thrive as the only dog in the home where she can fully relax and soak up all the attention. She may also do well with a calm, confident, lower-energy male dog who respects boundaries. She would do best with calm, dog-savvy kitties who mostly keep to themselves.
Ongoing Health
Ann Marie is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.
Training & Support
Ann Marie is house-trained and non-destructive. She walks beautifully on leash and doesn't require much exercise beyond short strolls.
