Meet Betsy Blue, a two-year-old bundle of joy with a personality as unique as her one blue and one brown eye! Our best guess is that she's a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix, and she's as silly as she is stunning. Betsy can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but after a gentle "drive-by bump" to gauge your intentions, she'll shower you with happy wiggles and snorts that sound like a piglet! Once you're in her inner circle, you'll be greeted with boundless love, playful energy, and the most devoted gaze.
Ideal Home
Betsy would thrive in a quieter home where she can build confidence and learn to relax. She would do best with older children who understand and respect her need for space. She's also done well with cats, especially those who are dog-savvy.
Ongoing Health
Betsy is generally healthy and has been spayed. All vetting is up to date, including DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, and Rabies. She is microchipped and receives regular flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Betsy is a smart and treat-motivated girl who picks up new commands quickly. She enjoys training sessions and loves to learn. While she's a dream on the leash, she can be a little shy with new people and dogs. With patience and understanding, she blossoms into a playful and loving companion.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation.
