About Oreo

Oreo might have that classic Husky look — striking black-and-white coat, soulful eyes, and a touch of mystery — but beneath that cool exterior is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s all about quiet affection and steady companionship. She’s not the “zoomies through the living room” type — Oreo’s more of a “curl up next to you and sigh in contentment” kind of girl. At five years old and around 50 pounds, Oreo is perfectly balanced between grace and goofiness. She was rescued alongside her sister Gigi, and while she’s gained confidence, she still looks to other dogs for comfort and reassurance — so a calm canine friend in her new home would make her heart feel full. She’s fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is a total pro at crate time. Oreo can be shy at first, but once she decides you’re safe, she’ll sneak her way right into your heart (and probably your lap). She loves children, enjoys her daily walks, and would do just fine in an apartment or house — as long as she has her people, a little routine, and another pup to keep her company. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who brings a quiet sort of magic to your home — the kind that makes every evening feel a little cozier — Oreo’s your girl. Just add love (and maybe a treat or two), and she’ll be yours forever.
