Spike here! I'm a goofy, smart, playful, and happy guy who's just grateful to be alive. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas, and since then, I've been getting my heartworm treatment and enjoying life with new friends. Now, my biggest dream is to find my forever family! I'm good with other dogs, but I am a dominant boy, so I'd do best as an only dog or with a more submissive canine companion. As a Husky, I'm active and need a family who understands the breed – we're known escape artists and love to shed! I'm dreaming of a cooler climate than hot Texas and would absolutely love to experience air conditioning! I'm ready for my next adventure!

Ideal Home

A family with Husky experience would be wonderful, as we are active and prone to escaping. I would do best as the only dog or with a submissive friend. I would love to get out of the heat and into a cooler climate.

I have successfully completed my heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

I am not house-trained. I am a Husky, so understanding my breed's needs for activity and mental stimulation will be key to my success.
