Hiya Friends! My name is Bonita and I'm a beautiful 2-year-old female German Shepherd. I was mistreated in my life until coming to IDGSR, but now I'm healthy and ready to be adopted! I am a sweet, resilient, friendly, smart, energetic, and loving girl looking for my forever home.

Ideal Home

I would love a home with a nice male companion to romp around the yard and play zoomie tag. I do not do well with cats. I would do fine with children aged 10 and up. I have high energy and would love to go on walks, hikes, check out some waterfalls, help you clean up in the kitchen, and basically do all the things as long as I'm with you.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives. I am also spayed.

Training & Support

I need full obedience training. Pro tip, bring cheese or hot dogs and I'll learn anything you can teach me!

• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.
• Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications.
• All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time.

Transporation

I am currently being fostered in Tennessee and am available for transport to the east coast. A transport fee will apply.
