Diva

Diva is a 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix weighing about 35 pounds, and she is a bundle of joy! This playful, affectionate, and outgoing girl has an endless supply of energy and love to give. She adores running and playing with other dogs, especially those who can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. Diva's tail is always wagging, and she's just as happy exploring on her own as she is romping with a canine buddy. Her foster family describes her as smart, loving, and a quick learner, particularly when motivated by food. When corrected, Diva has a charming quirk of letting out a vocal howl, as if she's engaging in a lively conversation! She greets new people with friendly, tail-wagging enthusiasm and loves toys and cuddles.

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in a home with another dog who shares her zest for playtime. She'd do best with someone who is home most of the time to provide her with the structure, love, and activity she craves. She also needs regular walks and plenty of playtime. Children in the home should be old enough to manage her enthusiasm, and it's a good idea to protect your snacks from her curious nose!

Training & Support

Diva is crate trained and does well for short periods, usually during meals or when her foster is away. She is very food motivated and eager to learn but should be fed separately from other pets to prevent any food-related squabbles. While she shares toys well, she might try to sneak extra treats if given the chance. Diva is still building comfort with car rides, so longer adventures will require patience and time.
