Ducky Bubby is a 4-year-old, 55 lb Lab mix with a personality that's a delightful blend of goofy, sweet, and endearingly awkward. His adorable face and little "teefies" that peek out are just the beginning of his charm. He's a rescue dog, so while we believe he's a Lab mix, we can't guarantee his breed or exact age. Ducky Bubby has a calm and steady presence, making him an absolute natural with children. He's not overly hyper or demanding of attention; instead, he calmly observes and interacts in the most engaging way, whether it's playing with toys, chasing balls, or gently taking treats. He’s also a fantastic playmate, sharing toys and engaging just enough to keep the fun going without overwhelming anyone. His unique way of trying to catch toys mid-air, sometimes successfully and sometimes not, is sure to bring endless laughter.
Ideal Home
Ducky Bubby would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can enjoy sunbathing, rolling in the grass, and exploring new scents. He could also adapt well to apartment living, as he's quiet in his crate, walks well on a leash, and doesn't seem bothered by other dogs in close quarters. He’s looking for a home with other dogs that are also goofy and confident, as he can be a little shy initially and feeds off the confidence of his canine companions.
Ongoing Health
Ducky Bubby is up-to-date on all his vetting, which includes DAPP with a booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been tested for heartworms and treated if necessary. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Ducky Bubby is a treat-motivated learner and already knows basic commands like "sit." He is eager to learn new tricks and has excellent house manners, appearing to be fully potty trained. He enjoys playing with toys and can happily entertain himself.

Ducky Bubby is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
